Now quite as majestic as it appears. The beds were old and terrible. The apartment and the entire building needs significant maintenance. The apartment needs a deep clean. There was hair on the sheets which always starts things badly. Be aware there isn’t any air con and that the shutters don’t function correctly (disrepair) so some bang if they are open because the tie backs are gone. The apartment is in a good location next to the beach but it is loud in the area in front of the soccer field. Be aware at 6 AM each morning the garbage truck will empty all of the bottle recycling bins. I don’t expect accommodations in Monterosso to be great but this was below standard. I have stayed there for many years and this was my least favorite.

the place looks more run down than the photos and its expensive for what you get, but its a pricey area so its hard to find reasonable accommodations. The location is good. Check-in smooth and easy.
